Welcome
This town-centre landmark is an amalgamation of historic buildings dating from the 15th and 18th century, known as The Royal Hop Pole. We have 28 individual bedrooms. All of our rooms are en suite and include tea- and coffee-making facilities, hair dryer, digital flat-screen television, iron and complimentary water. FREE Wi-Fi is available in the bar area.
We are an English Heritage hotel, and the detail inside reflects this. We have an undiscovered medieval hall upstairs, as well as a beautiful fireplace in the pub.
At present there is no lift to access the hotel floors. Please check with the hotel prior to booking if you have any questions about accessibility.
