• Directions

  From Canterbury East train station, it is a 10-minute walk: head north on Canterbury East Station Bridge towards the City Wall; slight right towards St George’s Terrace; continue onto St George’s Terrance, then turn right onto St George’s Lane. Turn left onto St George’s Street, then right towards Burgate Lane. Keep left to continue on Burgate Lane, then turn left onto Burgate – and The Thomas Ingoldsby will be on the right. From Canterbury West train station, it is 15 minutes’ walk: head southwest towards Station Road, then slight right onto Station Road. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto St Dunstans Street and continue to the High Street. Turn left onto Marcery Lane, then right onto Butter Market. Turn right onto Burgate – and The Thomas Ingoldsby will be on the left. From Canterbury Bus Station, it is a 3-minute walk: head northeast on St George’s Lane towards St George’s Terrace. Turn left onto St George’s Street, then right towards Burgate Lane, keeping left to continue on Burgate Lane. Turn left onto Burgate – and The Thomas Ingoldsby will be on the right.
