• Directions

  From Cambridge, head northeast on East Road/A603 towards Mill Road. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto A1134, continue to follow the Newmarket road. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the A14 to Bury St Edmunds. At junction 38, exit onto A11 toward Thetford, go through four roundabouts. At the fifth roundabout, take the first exit to A1075. Continue onto Cadman Way and then to Dereham Road, following the A1075. Turn left onto Yaxham Road and then onto London Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit, continue onto the high street and then left into Church Street. The hotel is on the right.

  Parking is available in the town and there is a car park within 50 metres of the hotel.

• Local Transport

  The bus stop is under five minutes from the hotel, with buses to Norwich, Peterborough and buses to coastal towns such as Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Norwich train station is the closest to the hotel, serviced by a bus from the bus station, taking 20 minutes.

• Local Attractions

  Breckland is an area of breathtaking natural beauty, with sandy heaths and many unusual species of plant and wildlife. It is the perfect base from which to explore an abundance of charming villages, stately homes, family attractions, theatres and wildlife reserves and parks. Head north to discover north Norfolk’s unspoilt coastline and wide sandy beaches, along with bustling harbour villages and towns. The medieval cathedral city of Norwich, one of the country’s top destinations, is just 30 minutes’ drive away. Dereham has its own attractions, with a range of shops and a magnificent pool and leisure complex; it even has its own restored private railway to delight train enthusiasts.
