Welcome

This is an outstanding property on the outskirts of Edinburgh city centre, just off the city bypass and 10 minutes from Edinburgh International Airport, close to Murraryfield, Edinburgh Zoo and all city centre attractions. There are regular bus services to the city centre (approx 20 mins), with a bus stop just in front of the hotel or a short taxi journey. All major Edinburgh train stations are easily accessible, with Haymarket being the closest to us. The Gyle shopping centre is only a short bus journey away. Great-value menu available 7am–11pm daily. Bar open Sunday–Thursday 7am–midnight, Friday and Saturday 7am–1am.

Please note there is no lift access to our rooms.

The White Lady is located in Edinburgh’s fashionable Corstorphine area. Once a small village on the outskirts of Edinburgh, it is now a prosperous suburb, renowned for its boutique shops and lively, fashionable restaurants and bars.   • Directions

    From Edinburgh international airport
    Leave the airport and join the A8 going towards the city centre. Follow signs for city centre and we are approximately 4 miles along on the left-hand side.

    From Edinburgh city centre
    Head west along the A8 towards Edinburgh international airport. Continue on this road, passing Murrayfield rugby stadium and Edinburgh Zoo. We are approximately 1 mile past the zoo on the right-hand side.

    From the north
    Cross the Forth road bridge and continue on the A80. Turn right into Drum Brae and continue to the end of the road. At the roundabout, turn left and we are approx 0.5 miles along on left-hand side.

    From the south
    Make your way to the Edinburgh City bypass (A720). Follow directions for Edinburgh airport (west), until you reach the end of this road. At the end of the dual carriageway, turn right at the roundabout and follow the signs for Edinburgh city centre. We are along approximately 1.5 miles along on the left-hand side.

    By train
    Edinburgh is served by two main-line stations. Waverely Station is directly in the city centre and has ample taxis and bus services to our hotel. Haymarket Station is just outside the city centre and is the closer of the two stations for our hotel; again, with frequent bus services and ample taxis available here.

    There is limited car parking available for hotel guests.

  • Local Transport

    Buses run regularly to and from the hotel, 24 hours a day, with numbers 12, 26 and 31 being the most frequent, check www.lothianbuses.com for further details.

  • Local Attractions

    The White Lady is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Edinburgh has to offer. It is just half a mile from Edinburgh Zoo, perfect for visiting the new panda arrivals. It is one mile from the Gyle Shopping Centre. The beautiful and historic city centre is just a couple of miles from the hotel, with its diverse range of attractions, from Dynamic Earth and Edinburgh Castle to the camera obscura and the Royal Yacht Britannia.
