• Directions

  Directions from Foregate Street train station
  Turn left out of Foregate Street Station onto Foregate Street. Continue along Foregate Street, past McDonald’s on your right, until you reach the junction of Broad Street, St Swithin’s Street and High Street. Turn right onto Broad Street and continue for approximately 50 metres, until the Crown Passage is on your right, just after The Crown pub. Turn down the passage and you will see the hotel reception on your left.
  
  Directions from Shrub Hill train station
  Turn left out of the station and follow the road round until you reach Shrub Hill Road. Turn left and then turn right onto Tallow Hill. Continue along Tallow Hill, across the first roundabout, with ASDA on your right. At the second roundabout, follow the road to the right and cross over at the crossing. Continue straight on into town, until you reach The Crown pub, on the right, on Broad Street. Hotel reception is situated in the Crown Passage, immediately after the pub.
  
  Directions from the bus station
  From the bus station, leave through the east exit and immediately turn right. Continue straight, with Boston Tea Party on your right and then turn left on to Broad Street. The Crown Pub will be on your left, and hotel reception is down the Crown Passage, just before the pub on the left.
  
  Directions from the M5 motorway
  Leave the M5 at junction 7 and take the first exit at the roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the second exit, following the A44. At the next roundabout, take the first exit straight across and the second exit at the next roundabout, which is also straight across. Continue along the A44 London Road, passing the cathedral on your left. At the one-way system, just before the river, keep right and follow the road round, with the river on your left. Just before the traffic lights, filter into the middle lane and follow this lane through the next set of lights – and the car park should be signposted on your left.

• Parking

  Because of our location in a pedestrian area, there is no on-site parking.
  
  We are affiliated with the Crowngate Shopping Centre’s car park, located on Moreton Place (WR1 3LX). The Crowngate car park is a multistorey car park, with disabled, parent & child and extra-large bays. It has a 24-hour on-site security team and CCTV installed, so you know that your vehicle is looked after.
  
  Please collect a ticket from the car park as you enter; before you depart, pay at a shopping centre pay terminal. Car-parking is a charge of £1 for an overnight stay (5pm–9am) or on a Sunday – and charged hourly otherwise. We are also able to discount your parking at the car park – we can validate your ticket (during check-out) to a flat rate of £6 per 24 hours.

  Two train stations with regular services to Birmingham, Cheltenham and Gloucester, as well as various other parishes.
  Large bus station with multiple services to surrounding towns and attractions.

• Local Attractions

  Race Course: Excellent for horse-racing and private functions, plus conferences and meetings. Races have been held here since 1718 and it is a national hunt course. There is regular racing throughout the summer. For more information, please visit www.worcester-racecourse.co.uk
  
  Worcester Cricket Club: One of 18 major county cricket clubs in the English and Welsh cricket structure, Worcester Cricket Club was formed in 1865.   Worcester Warriors: Founded in 1871, the team plays in the championship. The home stadium is Sixways Stadium, built in the 1970s. It provides various facilities for meetings and gatherings, as well as showcasing some fantastic rugby. Visit www.warriors.co.uk
  
  Edward Elgar: Born in Lower Broadheath, just outside Worcester, and an active member of Worcester Glee Club, Elgar was also a fantastic composer of music.   Worcester Cathedral: This dates from the 12th century and is an Anglican cathedral. It holds regular services and recitals, and visitors are always welcome. An outstanding piece of architecture. Find out more information at www.worcestercathedral.co.uk
  River Severn: The largest river in England, the Severn cuts right through the city and is perfect for rowing and summer boat trips. The source in Plynlimon (Wales) and the mouth filters into the Bristol Channel. The combination of the river and cathedral can provide some fantastic photography opportunities.
  
  Malvern Hills: These can be seen from many parts of Worcester city. They incorporate fantastic geological and archaeological history, as well as providing outstanding views of the Worcestershire county and surrounding areas, along with walking opportunities. Visit www.malvernhills.org.uk
